“The cryptocoryne costata (also called albida) is a much loved plant, both by beginners as by more experienced. Experienced aquarists find it so nice as he reacts strongly to different lighting circumstances. If you place it on a brightly lid spot its leaves will become brown, almost black. When placed in the shadow it will remain beautiful but it will become much greener and the white will come to the front. So the same plant can look totally different in your aquarium!”
